My name is Leslie Huey, and I am excited to be the new Vice Principal here at Castori Elementary and to be a part of the Panther community. 

 

Prior to joining Castori, I was a teacher for 13 years and have taught 2nd-5th grade. I absolutely love working in an elementary setting and seeing students grow to become lifelong learners. For the last two years, I was an MTSS Intervention Specialist with TRUSD, and am now looking forward to stepping into this new administrative role. 

 

There are a lot of areas I am passionate about in education, but I am a big proponent of building relationships with families and students, supporting teachers with creating systems of structures and routines, and improving literacy skills of all students so they can thrive beyond the classroom walls. I look forward to getting to know and work with you this school year!
